04/25/16: Week 10- Day 1

We are now moving into our Pre Competition Stage and moving out of our Base Stage of training.  In the base stage you noticed a wide variety of exercises all performed at a higher volume, with relatively low intensity. In the Pre Competition Stage we will focus more on the actual lifts and specific strength work, both performed at a high intensity. We are looking to peak at the May 22nd meet. Even if you are not lifting in the meet, we will still have you peak, then rest, and then start a new phase of training. So in short, we are gearing up to compete and smash PRs.

A.) Back Squat- 3RM, then -5 & -10% for 3

 B.) EMOM 20- 2 snatches- 55%

(These are intentionally light. Move with a purpose, execute each rep perfectly. Take the time to practice you movement. )

C.) Sn BN Push Press- 100% x 2 (3x)
